Old man dies due to highway collision

The elderly man was hit by an unknown highway near Nandwara Petrol Pump and Jimni, the main road connecting the district headquarters to the Baragnia block headquarters. Due to which he died on the spot. The deceased has been identified as 76-year-old Zahir Khan, resident of Ward No. 04 of Nandwara Panchayat of Bairagnia police station area.
Regarding the incident, the deceased’s son Shabir Khan told that his father was bringing food to the motorcycle spare parts shop of his younger brother Shahid Khan. Meanwhile, an uncontrolled highway laden with mud hit him. Due to which he died on the spot. However, as soon as the local people saw the incident, they reached there and tried to pick up the deceased and take him to the hospital. Although he had died before that.
Police started investigation
After this, local people informed Bairagnia police station about the incident. As soon as the information was received, SI Arjun Prasad of the local police station reached the spot with his team and investigated the matter. The body has been taken into its custody and sent to Sadar Hospital Sitamarhi for post-mortem. Here, on the demand of family members, the police has started searching for the highway driver. Let us tell you that Hiva has been taken into custody by the police. It was told that the deceased left behind four sons Guddu Khan, Bhadai Khan, Shabir Khan, Shahid Khan and two daughters.
